Final Submission

This is our final animation that we are submitting for the hand in. We, as a team, are so proud of it and feel that this is a much better finished product than the one we submitted for the deadline. The fast paced animation links directly to the fast paced environment of creative thinking. The animation was created so that each time it was watched something new would be spotted. We feel our animation strongly adheres to the brief and also does everything we want to present through social and environmental benefits. The images below also feature things developed for our finals, such as "The Big Idea" document that summarises everything we did and also a "Hero Image" that is a static image of the final animation.

The final animation was produced over a total of about ninety hours. As it was created in After Effects there were initial limitations that were quickly overcome as we found our way around the program and what it had to offer. The bold vector style that we chose for the aesthetics, without outlines or unnecessary details, were perfect for use in a video editing program like After Effects. The animation has been a huge stylistic accomplishment for the group, where we have all been allowed to inject our style and personalities into the images, whilst maintaining a coherent aesthetic and adhering to what we deamed the right direction for the stylistic and narrative approach to the project.

Overall, the aesthetic style is fun, bold and bright, with simple pleasing forms and characters that are representative and relatable. The animation style suits the narrative, with dozens of elements in a fast paced environment it will never be boring to watch.

Our final message points the viewer towards the RSA website, where they can join a community aimed at a huge social overhall in the education system. We believe that this final piece speaks volumes in conjunction with Debra Kidds message. Creativity should be encouraged in education because it leads to amazing possibilities. Possibilities such as we have faced, where we have stepped outside of our comfort zones to proudly create work that we hope will inspire a new generation to think bigger, better and hopefully help reform the world.
